March Madness 2018 - We Won!

Miss Lalich's class won this year's March Madness reading competition! The winning classes were announced at the end of the day yesterday. Everyone, win or lose, felt very proud of themselves for all the great reading they did and the effort they put forth this month! In fact, the elementary students logged more hours reading at home this month during this competition than ever before!

The students in Miss Lalich's class had the difficult choice of voting between a pool party or a pizza party. It was a tie! However, due to Forward Exams and other events this month, swimming would've had to wait for quite a while so a pizza party won the day! Miss Lalich's students did not want a party without their other 3rd grade friends, so Mrs. Hulse's class has been invited to the party as well. Congratulations 3rd grade on a job well done and a party well earned!

We plan to have this party the afternoon of our first Forward Exam testing day. That'll be a great way to relax and unwind after a fully-focused morning!
