Homework Expectations

We will be studying and learning spelling words each week through our reading series. These words are also sent home at the beginning of each week for your child to practice at home. On Fridays, we will take a spelling tests. Please help your child study these words each week.
We will be learning our multiplication tables beginning in September. Practice sheets will be sent home with students, and eventually strategy cards will be sent home as well. Please save these items so that your child can study at home daily/weekly to master these facts.
We are working on building reading stamina, fluency, and comprehension here at school. In order to help with this, your child should be reading at least 20 minutes at home each day.
